By car:

From Greenfield Massachusetts, which is at the intersection of routes I-91 and 2: Go west on Route 2, also called the Mohawk Trail at this point, for 5 miles. Here you'll see a big green sign for Route 2W (which you're on) with a left arrow for Shelburne Center -- turn left opposite this sign onto Shelburne Center Road. After 0.6 miles take the first left onto Bardwells Ferry Road. Follow this road (it has a few curves) for 0.8 miles. Take a right onto Bassett Road, which is a narrow road and goes over a brook. My house is the first one on the right.

Troubleshooting: If you miss the turn onto Shelburne Center Road, you have a second chance. The next landmark on route 2 is a short distance farther -- a white church on the right. When you see it, take the left opposite it. This is a short road that comes to a T at Shelburne Center Road. Take a right and follow directions above.
