Monthly Palmgren video: Red and white rep rug

For July we have Palmgren Project #7: Red and white rep rug. This striking rep rug design has historically been common throughout many parts of Sweden. It is pleasing to the eye, with its bold border and repeated circular motif throughout the middle. It is woven with just four shafts and four treadles, using two pairs of opposite blocks, giving four different pattern options making up the motif.
