2017 Class Schedule

Brand new offering: Vävstuga Favorites

We are very excited to offer a brand new class entitled Vävstuga Favorites. Choose from our gallery of beautiful projects! Select the colors as woven in the examples, or choose your own colors. We’ll wind the warp for you and you will receive a complete review of pre-sleying, beaming and tying up the Vävstuga way at the beginning of the week. Then settle in for a week of weaving at your own pace, creating something you’ve always admired from our famous hand towels with hang tags, to satin damask or rep runners, to an elegant damask tablecloth.

There is still room in our Flamboyant Blankets class, Oct 17–20, 2016. For our Basics Alumni we also have room in the Festival of Fabrics class, Nov 28 – Dec 2, 2016. The last Vävstuga Treasures sessions of 2016 will be the weeks of Dec 6–9 and Dec 13–16. Call to inquire about project availability.

                       

Welcoming Tonya Jones to the Vävstuga Staff

As many of you know, Tonya has been our apprentice these last 6 months and we celebrate her achievements in that role. Tonya’s personality, work ethic, and customer service talents made her a joy to have in the studio so we invited her to join our staff this month. You can read her bio on our About page. Yarn-in-a-Jar

Many of you have expressed appreciation for our great Yarn-In-A-Jar design tool for our wool yarns. We’re happy to announce that the 8/2 Cotton and the 22/2 Cottolin Yarn-in-a-Jars are now ready to aid in your design creativity.
