3-week session

Because many of you asked for a shorter version of our 15-week Väv Immersion program, Becky has designed an amazing 3-week Mini Immersion of intensive, hands-on learning including 10 techniques from our most popular classes. Come and immerse yourself in the beautiful rural setting of our Barn Studio. If you have been a regular with us for a long time, there will be fresh ideas and new projects. For those of you who have never woven before, there will be a comfortable experience for you on each loom. An added bonus — this class will satisfy our Vävstuga Basics requirement for other classes.

There’s still time to join us in 2017

There is ONE SPACE available for our Basics Alumni in our October 24-27 Vävstuga Treasures session to weave the amazing Jämtlandsdräll tablecloth.
OR to weave this Intermediate Rep Runner #7 in our October 23-27 Vävstuga Favorites class. This is an example of a fun way to combine blended warp stripes in a rep weave project. There is just one loom space available to weave either the Jämtlandsdräll Tablecloth OR the Rep Runner #7. Please call the office to reserve your choice.

Additional class openings for all in November and December

Scandinavian Knitting with Beth Brown-Reinsel, November 1-3 Come learn how to knit the Norwegian Fana cardigan — just a few spaces left in this workshop.
Birch Bark Weaving with Elaine Moe on Friday, December 1, 1:30–4:30pm Come and make a lovely star ornament. Please call or email the office to register for this fun afternoon workshop.

Väv Immersion 2017 is underway!

We welcomed 6 students to the 15-week Väv Immersion program this year. They have spent the last 3 weeks settling into the daily rhythm of planning and winding warps, weaving towels, blankets, yardage, and rag rugs, spinning, and learning something new every day.
